In addition, cycling lovers can count on many useful services available in valley centres: from shops to rental sites – including e-bike -, tours organized by local sports check-up stations to downhill trails, amateur racing and the scenic 48 km of the Dolomites Fiemme and Fassa bike paths. For the younger set, in nearby Canazei, there is the MTB Skill Park, a circuit where you can learn techniques on how to handle a mountain bike route. The things to see and places to visit in Moena include an exceptional host of possibilities. Among the cultural and gastronomic events, the festivities in the square, the sporting events to be attended, as well as many historical points of interest, the vibrant life of our resort will surprise you with its incredible facets.
For those who don’t want to give up art and culture, a visit to the church of San Vigilio and its Gothic bell tower is a must-see. Inside, you can admire many frescoes and works. Of particular note is the ancient church of San Volfango, patron saint of lumberjacks and carpenters, with 15th-century murals and a baroque wooden ceiling painted by the Moena-born sculptor Giovanni Guadagnini.
